St Peter’s – Shedding Light across the South Side!

Celine from The Yard, a playground for children with disabilities, came along to lead the count-down to switching on our 2016 lights. Then around 40 people moved into the church to sing carols. Voice for Life

Many congratulations to Fiona Barton for recently passing her Voice for Life Gold Award. This is the highest RSCM award available, and is a first for St Peter’s. Also many congratulations to Oliver Burrows, who passed his Bronze Award with Distinction.

Duruflé’s Requiem

On Good Friday, the St Peter’s Church Choir sang the Requiem and Notre Père by Maurice Duruflé, Cantique de Jean Racine by Gabriel Fauré, and Panis Angelicus by César Franck.  The performance was well received by the goodly number of people who attended.
