The young ones (and adults) heard all about the parable of Moses, then went on to create scenes from the parable in modelling clay, and all shared a buffet afterwards. Whilst the children played on the adults took time out to think about and discuss their experiences at church and suggest areas where we can improve.

A Star Party for the youngsters was held at Epiphany in the church hall, including learning about the nativity story, activities included hunt the hidden stars, star statues were created using just themselves or being inventive and joining a group, we made star origami and created gift boxes in the shape of, you’ve guessed it, stars! A lovely buffet made sure no one went home hungry!

Around 200 people were entertained at the Christmas Tree Lighting

Ceremony and performance of Babushka, an adaptation of the Russian folk tale, in early December. The play was performed by the young and not so young members of the congregation, see picture of the action and fun was had by all!
