St Peter’s Prayer Group is warm and friendly, meeting in the Lodge every Wednesday evening from 7.30 to 8.30, sitting round the table. We start with a brief silence then we hear the Gospel for the preceding Sunday. After another short silence we share what we believe God is saying to us. This leads us into prayer for St Peter’s, the community and the world and for any people and issues that are concerning us. Everything said in the group is strictly confidential. All this is crammed into one brief hour! We close with the Lord’s Prayer and the Grace.
Anyone who wishes to join us will find a welcome whether they come every week or can come only occasionally. We believe that that this group is a valuable part of the prayer life of St Peter’s.
