Quiet Day: Saturday 23rd November, 2019: 10am – 1pm

This is a chance to take some time out from the busyness of the approaching season of Advent. It is a morning of quiet reflection, prayer and fellowship.

Do you have a desire to engage in deeper conversation? Many people value being able to connect over a cup of coffee after services. However, some also long to acknowledge and explore the sacred nature of the everyday things we touch on during this time together. This time set aside close to Advent may provide an opportunity to engage with God and others in that deeper sense that many of us seem to be yearning.

During the morning there will be time for prayer and reflection; should you wish, there will be resources to help you to respond or share insights. There will be space to take conversations to a deeper place; either in private devotions, one to one, or in a small group.

As we will be approaching the weeks before Christmas, the day will have an Advent flavour.
