Voice for Life; an RSCM Training Event @ St Peter's Church

We are hosting the Voice For Life – an Introduction (for adults) event here at St. Peter’s, beginning at 6.30 p.m.

The RSCM’s Voice for Life programme enables you to help your singers progress, and to recognise and reward their achievements. This session outlines the programme, and shows how you can embed this within the life of your choir. The Voice for Life programme can be undertaken by singers of any age and is not just for children.

The Voice for Life course is a really useful missional tool for any church. The Voice for Life training scheme provides a framework for choral singers to develop their vocal skills, their musical understanding and their knowledge of repertoire. It teaches the singers how to use their voices well, musical skills and understanding (which incorporates music theory), Repertoire (thinking about and understanding what they sing) and the importance of belonging to a choir and the life skills this brings.
